How do I create a game?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen to create a new game. Choose a game type or create a custom one, then set up scoring rules and point values. You can name your game and start tracking scores immediately.

How do I add players or teams?

When creating or editing a game, tap "Add Player" or "Add Team." You can enter names, assign colors, and set up team rosters. Players and teams are saved across games, so you can quickly add them to future sessions.

How does multi-device syncing work?

Sign in with your Google account to enable syncing. Once signed in, you can invite other players by their email address. All invited users who sign in can view and update the same game in real time. Changes sync instantly across all connected devices via Firebase.

How do Live Activities work on the Lock Screen?

When a game is in progress, Score Games automatically creates a Live Activity that appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (on supported devices). You can see current scores at a glance without unlocking your phone. Live Activities update in real time as scores change.

How do I view leaderboards and player stats?

Navigate to the "Stats" tab to see player and team leaderboards across all your games. You can view win/loss records, average scores, highest scores, and game history. Filter by date range or game type to get the stats you need.

Locally on your device: All game data is stored locally on your iOS device for offline access.

Firebase: When you sign in with Google and use multi-device syncing, your game data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database to enable real-time synchronization across devices and with other invited users.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App's settings. Upon account deletion, all of your personal information and game data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device can be removed by deleting the App.

Score Games is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data transmitted between the App and Firebase is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (game data, player names, scores, etc.). By using the multi-device sync feature, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the syncing functionality.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BurdHouse Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
